Tandam Verification rules
Verification confirms that the photos in your profile are of you. Verified profiles get a badge, appear in the feed more often and earn more trust. Without verification some features may be unavailable (for example, matches and chats) — the app will tell you.
How to get verified
1. Profile → Verification. The app shows a 4-digit code.
2. Write the code on a sheet of paper — large and legible, with a dark pen or marker.
3. Take a selfie with the app's camera, holding the sheet next to your face. Your face and the code must be clearly visible — no filters, masks or sunglasses.
4. The code is new every time, so old photos will not work.
How we check
- An automatic check compares the face in the selfie with the photos in your profile and reads the code on the sheet. If everything clearly matches, verification is granted immediately.
- If the automatic check is unsure, a moderator reviews the selfie — usually within 24 h.
- We decline if: the face is not visible; there is no code on the sheet or the code is different; the person in the selfie does not look like the profile photos; the selfie is blurry, edited or taken from a screen. You will see the reason in the app.
- You can send a new selfie no more often than once every 5 min.
Good to know
- The selfie is not published in your profile — only moderators see it.
- The selfie is kept while you have a profile: new photos are compared with it. It is deleted when you delete your profile.
- If you replace your profile photos with photos of someone else or ones where you cannot be recognised, verification is removed — you can get verified again.
- Verification is removed if the selfie turns out to be someone else's or fake. Trying to cheat verification is a reason for a ban.
- Verification only confirms resemblance to the photos — not a person's age, name or intentions. Stay alert when chatting.
