Privacy Policy Tandam

Here you can find out what data Tandam collects, why it is collected, who has access to it, how long it is stored for, and how to delete it. The data controller is Tandam (contact details are at the end).

What data do we collect?

• From Telegram when you open the bot and the app: Telegram ID, username, Telegram language. We do not receive your phone number, contacts or your Telegram chat history.
• Profile — the information you provide yourself: name, age, gender, who you’re looking for, town, interests, description, photos and videos.
• City: we store the city and the approximate coordinates of its centre, not your exact location. If you are searching for a town based on your geolocation, the coordinates are sent once to the OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) mapping service to determine the town’s name and are not stored.
• Activities on the platform: likes and comments on posts, matches, messaging with matches, complaints and blocks, support enquiries, active days, gifts and promo codes.
• Purchases: what was bought, when, how many stars it cost, and the Telegram payment reference number. Card details are processed by Telegram — we do not receive them.
• Verification: a selfie showing the code written on a piece of paper.
• Device: a random identifier that the app stores on the device, along with technical details about it (platform, browser, screen, time zone, languages, graphics card, rendering ‘fingerprint’) — to ensure that users blocked for violations cannot register again. For further details, please see our ‘Cookies and Analytics Policy’.
• Technical logs for the server (request times, errors, and the web server’s IP address) — to protect against system failures and attacks; these are stored for a limited period.

Why

• show your profile to others and match you with other profiles (city, age, gender, interests);
• pairs, messages and notifications in the bot;
• security: moderation; checking photos and text for fraud and spam; protection against fake accounts and duplicate registrations by blocked users;
• verification;
• paid features: processing purchases and returns;
• handling and investigating complaints;
• general statistics (number of registrations, which adverts brought people to the site) — in summary form, to help develop the service.

We do not sell data, display third-party adverts or pass data on to advertisers.

What does everyone see?

• Other users: name, age, town and distance, interests, description, photos and videos, badges (e.g. ‘verified’), approximate activity (‘online’, ‘today’). Your Telegram username is only visible to the person you’ve shared it with.
• Moderators: profile details, photos, complaints and reports, verification selfies. Chat history — only whilst investigating a complaint against a user: the most recent messages from the chat that was the subject of the complaint.
• Service owners can view conversations to monitor security and compliance; each view is logged.
• Telegram — the platform on which the service operates (its policy: telegram.org/privacy).
• Hosting provider, from which the server is rented — the data is physically stored on its equipment.
• The machine translation service receives only the texts of the service team (news, rules, names of interests), but not your questionnaire and messages.
• Public authorities — only upon legal request.

How much we store

• Correspondence is erased from both, if no one writes in it 48 h.
• Profile, photos, likes, pairs and selfie verification — until you delete the profile.
• Incomplete registration — up to 100 days.
• Purchase records — longer than the questionnaire, for accounting and refunds (only the payment number, Telegram ID, purchase and amount remain without the questionnaire).
• Moderation solutions, Telegram ID and device tags of blocked devices — while the lock is in effect, so that it is not bypassed.
• Database backups — 7 d

Your rights

• View and correct the questionnaire data in the "Profile".
• Hide the profile ("Profile→" "Hide profile") or delete it along with photos, likes, pairs, correspondence and selfies: "Profile" → "Delete profile". Deletion is irreversible; data will disappear from backups within 7 days.
• Contact support to find out what other data is stored about you, get a copy, or ask to be deleted.
• Withdraw consent to processing — by deleting the questionnaire.

How to protect

The server is available only to the owners of the service, the connection is only via https, photos and videos are opened using temporary signed links. Command access is restricted, command actions are logged.

Children

Adult-only service. If it turns out that the questionnaire was created by a person under the age of 18, the questionnaire is blocked and deleted.
